Loki & Molli

I’m going to try and catch up on my photo blogging, and with any luck, keep it going until I leave for my big 2014 road trip next February. We’ll see if I can blog consistently for 7 months. Wish me luck!

This is Loki and Molli. It goes without saying that I had an awesome time at our shoot because, well- they are kitties, and I love kitties! They live in a gorgeous house not too far from me in West Seattle, and I could have spent the entire day there. Their mom told me they are very skittish and sensitive to any noises, and at the first sign (sound) of noise they split. I was quiet as a mouse and moved slowly (and kicked everyone out of the room), and ended up getting shots of them happy and relaxed. Enjoy!

  1. I absolutely love the precarious nature of animals – i have had several individuals and families that want photographs with their pets – and most of the time the pets behave better than the owners. any ideas on how to change this — hahahaha – just kidding
but seriously – do you have any suggestions on how to get the animals to get the funny stuff to start. or does it just require hours and hours of watching an waiting?

thanks for any suggestions you may have

  2. Kaylee- I laughed out loud many times during the shoot! Lol. I had almost as much fun as they did. Thanks so much for your comment! 🙂

  3. I laughed out loud at the shot of the black and orange one all splayed out on his back next to the table on the floor. bahaha. And gosh – you weren’t kidding – look at that house! It’s incredible! What a perfect place for two kitties to live! I love it!
