Fergie at dog-friendly Seabrook Washington on the Pacific Coast

A few months ago Fergie and I skipped out of town for a few days to visit one of our favorite Washington getaways- the charming little town of Seabrook Washington on the Pacific Ocean about halfway down the state west of Aberdeen, home of Nirvana’s late Kurt Kobain. This is a little road trip we try and take several times per year because we love it so much and because they are so gosh-darn dog-friendly there. Check out our November 2010 trip here, and our July 2010 trip here and here.

Since I haven’t posted any photos in awhile I’m gracing the blog with tons here. I hope you enjoy the shots of Fergie on the beach and can practically smell the salty air through your computer screen! I can almost feel the cool wet sand under my toes now. Can’t wait to go back.

Fergie was getting ready to sneeze here. Can you tell? lol

We stayed in the Beach Camp neighborhood in an adorable little dog-friendly cabin with a hot tub and dog run in back. There was nary a soul there so we had the place to ourselves.

The light was incredible that first day!

The shot below is currently my timeline photo on Facebook.

Seabrook becomes downright magical at night.

A rare self-portrait. Even though it’s blurry, I love the shot on the left. It’s so indicative of my relationship with Fergie.

It was super windy that day. Check out her ears! lol

Hope you enjoyed the photos of Fergie at Seabrook! There will be many more to come in the future.

  1. Seabrook looks beautiful and amazing! Love the row of bird houses.

I’m thinking that Fergie never takes a bad photo-wish I were so lucky! HA!

  2. I’m glad to see you finally made it to Seabrook like you had wanted to do. It looks like a wonderful get-away, I wish it was closer to Indiana! The photos are great, my favorites were the one you used for your timeline & I especially like the one with you & Fergie!! What fun, thanks for sharing!

  3. What a beautiful little place … I’d never heard of it before (of course, I’m all the way on the other side of the country!). Looks like you and Fergie had a great time – my favorite is the one of her watching her ball – her reflection in the wet sand is just beautiful!
