Screengrab of this fantastic new site:

Any dog owner anywhere in the country can go and sign up, create a profile, review local dog-centric businesses, and network with their friends and fellow dog-lovers. It’s not just a website, but very much an online community, and I feel so lucky to have seen it grow from inception to launch!

I also feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to photograph the winner of the CityDog Cover Model Search Dohjo for the Winter 2011 cover (seen below). Dohjo is an English Bulldog/Corgi mix, and was an absolute blast to photograph. We did his shoot on a rare sunny winter day down on the waterfront, and the winning photo makes me giggle every time I look at it. How cute is he?

Tonight is the big CityDog Muttmixer at the W Hotel, which takes place once per quarter. I had planned to go, but crummy health coupled with a not-so-good day have me camped out at home.

I’m sure the pawty is a huge hit and I know I’ll be there for the next one. I’m so proud of my friend, the editor Brandie Ahlgren, and all that she has accomplished with this new website. Kudos to CityDog Magazine and here’s to the new launch! 🙂
